Four Corners is an Imperial city located on the planet of
Moreh Prime. The city derived its name from the fact that it is divided
into 4 quarters or sectors. The Italian Quarter, under the supervision of
the Imperial Space Marines, contains a castle and has more initial
defensive gun emplacements than the other sectors. The French Quarter,
under the auspices of the Imperial Sisters of Battle, contains more
cathedrals and relics than the other sectors. The Belgian Quarter, under
the administration of the Adeptus Arbites and the Moreh Militia, contains
more factories and slag deposits than the other sectors. The Chinese
Quarter (also known as Chinatown), under the control of the Imperial
Guard, contains more residential slums and strategic points than the other
sectors. While the various Imperial factions will readily join together
to fight any alien threat, a great deal of distrust exists among them,
which often leads to skirmishes between the factions. Despite the battles
that have occurred at Four Corners, few of the buildings have incurred
If you intend to play this map as scripted, you will need
to use “fixed” starting positions. Player 1 should be a Space Marine
army. Player 2 should be a Sisters of Battle Army. Players 3 and 4
should be Imperial Guard armies. If playing in teams, players 1 and 2
should form the first team; players 3 and 4 should form the second team.
Alternatively, players 1 and 4 can form the first team, while players 2
and 3 form the second team.
This map is designed for up to 4 players. It is suitable
for team-play or for a free-for-all battle against live opponents. It is
also suitable for a single player to fight against the computer AI. It is
designed so that you can use any combination of victory objectives
desired. Although scripted as a battle between rival Imperial forces, the
map is designed so that you can use any combination of armies you prefer.
The map is large, 512 x 512 in size. The map contains a total of 5
critical locations, 6 slag deposits, 6 relics, and 26 strategic points.
